Wayfinding

Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Wayfinding

Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale is one of the biggest churches in the United States, with 30,000 weekly visitors, 9 campuses and their own private school in the Fort Lauderdale campus. Calvary approached HoneyYork with the goal of updating their current exterior monument signs which hasn’t been changed in 20 years, to reflect their current branding. They also wanted to create a comprehensive wayfinding system that includes monuments signs, road directional, as well as building labels, internal signs and maps that will be applied in all their campuses to help direct all their visitor, as well as to facilitate staff trainer, and first response.

In Phase 1, we started the process by designing and implementing monument signs and road directional signs. We started in the Fort Lauderdale campus, a 72-acre former software company headquarters, with 3 buildings, a restaurant, private school, sport fields, skatepark and gym. We developed a basic modular template that integrates with their branding, and achieves the goal of clearly communicating locations in the campus for vehicles and pedestrians alike.
